Alive & Thrive Grants Program issues second call for Letters of Interest

Alive & Thrive (A&T) is issuing a second call for letters of interest (LOIs) for its Small Grants Program. Grant recipients will test innovations for overcoming barriers to improved feeding practices. A&T anticipates distributing a total of $225,000 to up to three projects in this second and final year of the small grants program. Grants will be awarded to successful applicants following a two-step application process that begins with the online submission of an LOI.

A&T is an initiative to reduce undernutrition and death caused by sub-optimal infant and young child feeding practices. The project is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and managed by AED. The Small Grants Program is managed by UC-Davis, a member of the A&T team. Other members of the team are BRAC, GMMB, IFPRI, Save the Children, and World Vision.
