This paper demonstrates adverse effects to maternal and child health and nutrition service provision and service utilization in urban Bangladesh during and after enforcement of COVID-19 restrictions. Services requiring proximity were severely affected, while child weight and height measurements and immunizations as well as service utilization and facility visitations fell for both women and children.  Authors identify potential solutions to strengthen delivery and uptake of health services and advocate for further investments to provide COVID-19 information, improve COVID-19 training, and provide incentives and equipment for health workers.
