With the support and guidance from key Infant and Young Child Feeding and Maternal Nutrition partners, Alive & Thrive, UNICEF, and WeCan jointly developed this set of 11 cards as part of an IYCF Message Toolkit.

These nutrition profiles present MIYCN data for six regions of Burkina Faso, including data on health and nutrition indicators, causes of undernutrition, nutrition promotion platforms and antenatal and child health care, and global nutrition targets.

Undernourished pregnant women give birth to small, low birth weight babies who are often born before time and are at high risk of illness and death.

This family calendar, flyer, flip chart, and job aid are part of a series of social behavior change communication materials on the topic of maternal nutrition created by the A&T India project.
