This toolkit introduces and disseminates knowledge products from A&T's key interventions and impact in Southeast Asia from  2017-2021 under 3 key program objectives: 

A breastfeeding promotion intervention in private facilities in Lagos, which included training for healthcare providers, increased the percentage of exclusively breastfed infants but had no impact on early initiation of breastfeeding.  

Interviews assessed the feasibility of improving nutrition service delivery and coverage through the primary health care system in Bangladesh, revealing the need to fill gaps in human resources and logistic gaps as well as create demand for preventive services.

Breastfeeding and mothers’ milk is presently not counted in food systems or the economy but should be. The Mothers’ Milk Tool will help.

This series of three posters, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Viet Nam, provides information on kangaroo mother care, proper breastfeeding latch, and breastmilk expression and storage. The posters are part of the Centers of Excellence for Breastfeeding initiative.
