This toolkit introduces and disseminates knowledge products from A&T's key interventions and impact in Southeast Asia from  2017-2021 under 3 key program objectives: 

Building on experiences and lessons learned from its first five years in Ethiopia, Alive & Thrive Phase II (2014-2017) provided support to roll out elements of the government’s multi-sectoral National Nutrition Program (NNP) aimed at improving breastfeeding and complementary feeding practices

Alive & Thrive used the tools presented in this document to implement its maternal nutrition program from 2015-2016.

Contains overview of community approach, community discussion and workshop guides, lessons for schools, Q&A on seven feeding actions, and father’s card.

Covers recommended complementary feeding practices in 12 sessions using adult learning principles that include food demonstrations and role plays of counseling.

Trainer Manual 3 is designed for use by trainers to enhance the capacity of community-based workers (CBWs) in IYCF.
