These videos present Alive & Thrive's adolescent nutrition intervention in Ethiopia, which included Amhara, Somali and SNNP regions. The intervention, co-designed with multiple stakeholders, including adolescent girls and their families, sought to improve dietary practices.

Complementary feeding social and behavior change communication for fathers and mothers improves children's consumption of fish and eggs and minimum meal frequency in Kaduna State, Nigeria (Flax, V. Current Developments in Nutrition. 2022)

This study measured the effects of a multipronged 12-month intervention in Kaduna State that targeted complementary feeding (CF) social and behavior change communications to both fathers and mothers, showing improvements in parents’ CF practices and knowledge, as well as fathers’ support for CF.&

This article demonstrates that exposure to interventions matters for impact, but the combination of behavior change interventions and number of interpersonal counseling contacts required to support behavior change in infant and young child feeding are context-specific.

Using Multilevel Modeling to Understand Individual and Community-level Determinants of Anemia in Ethiopia

The study explores the determinants of anemia in Ethiopia at both individual and community levels and analyzes any differential effect of a predictor at the two levels.
