Alive & Thrive aimed to address poor complementary feeding practices in Ethiopia with intensive behavior change interventions through four platforms: interpersonal communications, nutrition-sensitive agricultural activities, community mobilization, and mass media. The study evaluated the impact of the A&T intensive interventions compared to standard interventions on complementary feeding knowledges, practices, and child growth outcomes, and found that the approach was feasible and effective, improving complementary feeding and child stunting outcomes within two years.
