This series of three posters, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Viet Nam, provides information on kangaroo mother care, proper breastfeeding latch, and breastmilk expression and storage. The posters are part of the Centers of Excellence for Breastfeeding initiative.

This quick guide summarizes the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes (The Code) and relevant resolutions of the World Health Assembly that help protect breastfeeding around the globe.

On the Code’s 40th anniversary, we have much to celebrate, but much remains to be done. Join A&T in spreading the word that The Code protects all mothers and babies, and that we must commit to putting #BabiesBeforeProfits and  #ProtectBreastfeeding! 

In 2019, UNICEF, the World Health Organization and Alive & Thrive launched a regional campaign to increase the rate of exclusive breastfeeding across West Africa - the Stronger With Breastmilk Only initiative.
