With the support and guidance from key Infant and Young Child Feeding and Maternal Nutrition partners, Alive & Thrive, UNICEF, and WeCan jointly developed this set of 11 cards as part of an IYCF Message Toolkit.

These two infographics summarize Alive & Thrive’s work in Bangladesh from 2009 to 2014. The rigorously evaluated intervention resulted in large scale improvements in exclusive breastfeeding and complementary feeding practices.

This implementation manual for BRAC’s community-based Alive & Thrive IYCF program describes four core interventions (home visits, antenatal/postnatal care, health forums, and community mobilization) and the human resources, training, supervision, incentives, and monitoring to support them.

The Communication Framework and Plan is a component of the National IYCF Strategy and its goal is to contribute to the reduction of undernutrition and death caused by sub-optimal infant and young child feeding practices.
