Alive & Thrive evaluated the effect of providing nutrition-focused Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH) Program to compared with standard MNCH (antenatal care with standard nutrition counseling). Results showed that delivering multiple interventions for maternal nutrition simultaneously through an existing MNCH program - interpersonal counseling and community mobilization, providing free supplements, and ensuring weight-gain monitoring - improved maternal dietary diversity, micronutrient supplement consumption, and exclusive breastfeeding practices.
