Interviews were conducted to identify barriers and facilitators to the collection of data and the use of data for decision-making to strengthen maternal nutrition interventions in Uttar Pradesh, India. Despite intensive data-collection efforts, half of supervisors reported using data to identify areas for improvement while only 23% reported using data to inform decision-making, which is critical to plan interventions and provide targeted support to frontline workers.
