From 2010-2014, Alive & Thrive worked in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Viet Nam to reduce undernutrition and death caused by sub-optimal infant and young child feeding (IYCF) practices.

Strategic and well-coordinated advocacy is essential to improve nutrition at scale. Recent efforts in countries throughout Southeast Asia have generated regional momentum and resulted in stronger nutrition policies and programs.

The Communication Framework and Plan is a component of the National IYCF Strategy and its goal is to contribute to the reduction of undernutrition and death caused by sub-optimal infant and young child feeding practices.
