Reducing Prevalence of Anemia in Pregnant Women: Applying Quality Improvement Approach to Improve Community Level Health and Nutrition Services
This case study describes a successful pilot supported by Alive & Thrive India in one of the blocks in Bodh Gaya in Bihar's Gaya district, applying the point of care continuous quality improvement approach for strengthening community-level management of anemia in pregnant women.

How India's District and Sub-District Facilities Are Catalysing Change for Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition: Quality Improvement Case Studies from District and Sub-District Facilities
Alive & Thrive collaborated with government medical colleges and affiliated hospitals in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar to undertake a point of care quality-focused approach for strengthening maternal, infant, and young child nutrition service delivery and cascaded the interventions to district and sub-district hospitals with support from medical colleges.

There is a growing global recognition that post-perinatal death care should potentially provide the opportunity for maternal donation. This article explores the experiences of bereaved mothers in Vietnam who chose to donate breastmilk following perinatal loss at the Da Nang Human Milk Bank.
